Slot machine
A slot machine rewritten as a clean Vue component, refereed by a home-made PHP API, with a CSS perspective reel effect.
This slot machine comes from an earlier project, fully reworked and rewritten as a standalone Vue component.
When the player hits "Play", the component calls the API controller: the server knows the outcome and returns the three reel values, while the component simply displays them and announces the win. The machine is part of the API as a controller and a model, inside a framework I wrote myself.
The spinning reel effect relies on CSS perspective: the six images are placed automatically around an axis.
The idea is taken much further on naskot.fr, with three machines, a shared progressive jackpot and real-time spins.
